Master of Science in

E-learning in Medical Education

 

It is a postgraduate degree (Ms.) which will give students the skills they need to plan, design  and facilitate online learning opportunities for applicants in higher education, and to feed the needs of society in the area of e-learning in medical science.

Course structure: the program actualized as a blended learning ( partial attending ) course. The face-to-face classes in each semester will be offered in the first and last part of the semester, maximum 4 days for each course, according to the course structure determined in the Department. It should be noted that all exams will be paper-based.

In general, each semester 12 to 14 units will be offered and the students of Virtual School should take a minimum of 6 units  per term.( The Department’s confirmation is needed).

  Admission Requirements

I.  General Requirements

·       Having physical and mental health

·       Being eligible according to I.R.I regulations

·       Possessing educational and disciplinary measures and regulations of the School.

Note 1: Handicapped can’t work with computer are not eligible.

 

II. Special Requirements

1. Educational Status

1.1. Applicants should normally possess a first degree in MD, Dentistry, Pharmacy, B.Sc./M.Sc. of all fields of medical sciences, B.Sc. / M.Sc.  in Management & Educational Planning, M.Sc. in Educational Management & Environment,  M.Sc. in Educational Management and M.Sc. in Educational Research.

 

Filling in the online application form and uploading the high-quality scan of the following documents are required for the international applicants:

§  A letter of application or motivation in which you clearly specify your major and level of interest found on our website

§  A Résumé or C.V.

§  The previous degree(s) in original: Ph.D. candidates should provide both their

Bachelor’s and Master’s (or any other related degree such as M.Phil.). M.Sc. candidates should provide both their B.Sc. and High School Diploma (or any other related degree such as M.B.B.S.) along with the complete transcript of records for all degrees (Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 or equivalent).

§  English proficiency: IELTS or TOEFL (before graduation from TUMS, a certificate of IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 or equivalent is required). If you do not have an IELTS or TOEFL score, you can complete and upload the Certificate of English Proficiency Form.

§  Three letters of recommendation

§  A passport-size photograph

§  A copy of passport’s main pages

 

All interested applicants are welcome to apply to TUMS by completing and submitting TUMS online application form in which they need to specify their school, level, and major of interest.
